Business Development Specialist

Solita is looking for a Business Development Specialist who wants to connect with people and create new business opportunities.

Solita Belgium is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist with a pure hunter profile. In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities and cultivating relationships with prospective clients. Your efforts will be instrumental in expanding Solita’s market presence, leveraging your networking skills and proactive approach to build a robust client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management: Coordinate with marketing to effectively manage and nurture leads generated from various campaigns and initiatives.
  • Event Representation: Serve as Solita’s primary representative at industry events, engaging potential clients and enhancing our brand visibility.
  • Cold Calling and Outreach: Proactively contact prospective clients from targeted lists, focusing on generating new business through cold calling and outreach efforts.
  • Hunter Mindset: Maintain a relentless pursuit of new opportunities, embodying a hunter mentality to grow Solita’s market footprint.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department: Work closely with the marketing team to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to managing incoming leads.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven first experience in a hunter-focused sales role, within the consultancy or technology sector, demonstrating a successful track record in new business acquisition.
  • Knowledge of the Belgian market
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a persuasive approach to client interactions.
  • Knowledge of French or Dutch (fluent, C1)), and English. Unfortunately this is a hard requirement which we can’t make any exceptions for.
  • Strong goal-oriented mindset, with a determination to meet and exceed targets through proactive outreach.
  • Ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and executing with minimal supervision.
  • A passion for understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive business impact.

Salary package: we’re offering a salary package with bonus system, with a base salary of ideally around 2500-3500 euro gross, in line with the acquired experience. The package offers a company car, net allowance, meal vouchers, group insurance, hospitalization insurance and cafetariaplan.

 

We’re not working together with partners for this role, and unfortunately we can’t sponsor any VISA applications at the moment.
